We're on the up and growing, we have great facilities and plans to evolve, so please come and join the fun and get involved. Here are some vacancies that we’re looking for help with:

Club Secretary - main point of contact for the FA, team managers, clubs and leagues, the Secretary will help look after the administrative duties for the club. The effort involved with this role ebbs and flows - there is a busy period at the end of the season when the club and teams have to affiliate and then there are only bits and pieces to do as things happen throughout the season. We really need someone to take over from Ben S please.

Community Secretary - responsible for organising social events to bring all club members together to enhance relationships within the club and with the local community (perhaps parties, quiz night, end-of-season do). The effort involved with this role is totally dependent upon the events organised - ideally we would like to put on a quiz night and end-of-season do each season.

Fundraising Secretary - obtaining additional funds such as grants or sponsorship. Grant applications can take quite a few hours to put together but they don't happen that often.

Environmental leader - suggest ways of identifying, reducing & offsetting resource usage.

Groundskeepers - help maintain the playing surfaces at Fords Green - maybe paint the lines or use the tractor to groom the surface. 

Match day setup - help setup the pitches for matches (put up the nets, respect barriers, etc). This could be a couple of hours each Saturday (or maybe just every other Saturday) during the season. Any help with this role would be very helpful.

Cafe manager - help run our cafe during home games. The cafe creates a fantastic social environment and provides a vital source of income for the club. We tend to have a home game once a week during the season.

Nutley Football Club has been running for 133 years offering opportunities for local residents (juniors and adults) to play, exercise, have fun and make friends. A long succession of wonderful people have kept it going by generously offering their time to coach, look after the ground and perform administrative tasks. You could be one of these people. Many hands make light work. You wouldn't be signing up forever, you could do it for one year or many years. Anything you can offer will assist your local community, build a sense of camaraderie and earn you a warm glow inside and much appreciation from those around you.

It is really important that our volunteers are representative of the diversity of our local community. We really need to improve the gender diversity of our volunteers.

We are a friendly and supportive bunch of volunteers. Please think about volunteering. We are more than happy to hear about what you would want and need to volunteer and will do our best to accommodate these things.
